Friday, May 15, 2009I'm back!! =)I recently attended an "internship" talk by Prudential and I have no idea why, but i left the building thinking... "Why not just give it a shot". And so, I told the girl to arrange an interview for me. I'm currently waiting for her call to tell me the interview time TODAY because the internship programme starts on MON!!! I am hoping she calls soon as I've arranged to meet Siao Er and 2pm and I don't want to have to spoil that plan because half of me just doesn't want to go for the interview anymore!! I must admit, I was pretty inspired to give this industry a shot as compared to the last time I went for another of such financial consultants interview. Not sure what was it that just sparked that momentary interest. No idea why, but my gut feeling tells me I might just get this internship thingy, though I don't feel very good about it but ya. Kept telling myself to keep an OPEN MIND and if i get it, just WHACK. hahaha ARGH! haiya, type so much at the end of e day, i'm just timid and scared lar. And i think its so ironic cause i was sooooo against it last time, but somehow they way they put it yesterday, just made it sound like what i was looking for in a job! -.- - to care for people but this time, by selling them right policies so they have monetary security if anything should happen -to talk to people on a more personal basis, provide that before purchase and after purchse care OK. So anyways, I've been slacking at home, doing nothing. Trying to find a part time job as well, but to no avail. Anyone with any recommendations? IM DOOMED!!! im going for the interview now!! ciao pple!!! Friday, May 01, 2009ALRIGHTIE!NO MORE EMO-ing!! I've been studying at biz library recently... and its great!! hahaha... I THINK i'm a little more productive there.... Love the fact that the air con isn't really cold. WHEE... I'm 2 papers down and have 2 more to go. Operations management on Mon and Econometrics on Tues... Even though I have this feeling i'm going to have to hopefully "S" OM, i'm still studying for it. Guess I just don't want to go in for an exam and regretting not studying hard enough (even though i felt especially so for my last paper. URGH) Anyhow... I was just looking out from where I was sitting this afternoon... and I LOVE e view of KR!!! It's awesome! Gave me that tingly kinda feeling. Although sometimes I hate life here and hate the things that's going on... I still can't bear to leave. Madness. This place is WAY ADDICTIVE and ironic. Ah Vells.... study study study.. that's what i should be doing now... CAN'T wait... Meanwhile, everyone please take care.. and just control k.. don't go overseas lar k (even though i really want to go johor. GR) CIAO!! =) |
